by Vincent Farrell
Vincent Farrell published a limited edition serigraph series of “Moon Over Chicago” with his friend Grant Antik. The original oil painting was painted from Grant’s Lake Shore Towers apartment on the 32 floor with a beautiful panorama of Chicago.
This is a really nice gesture, to make a blog in memory of your father. People will be richer having seen his work.
Thanks for liking my Paintings in pprogress post.

I have one of the PP (10/12) of Moon Over Chicago… Interesting story, I in fact introduced Grant and Vincent together in about 1989 in Laguna Beach…
That is a beautiful serigraph “Chicago” and what an interesting story! are you from Laguna BEach?
kind regards,
vanessa
Hi Vanessa, I used to live in Laguna Beach (1986 – 1990). Grant was my neighbor and so we went out one Sat to get shop for paintings. i purchased “Laguna Beach” (24/250) and Vincent came to hang it in my apartment (have a great picture of him and me in my living room). Grant loved his work so much invited him to come to Chicago, where as you know Vincent eventually had a gallery. I spent a fair amount of time in that apartment where the painting was painted.
Grant was always very nice to me and my sister DIon and we all went to Chicago for the gallery opening and the after party which was held in Grant’s apartment. I believe his apartment was on the 32nd floor of the Lake Shore Towers. Beautiful view. Grant was a very kind and generous person and a close friend of my father’s. I am so glad you found my blog! Hope you stop by again soon, Dion and I love to hear stories about our father from his patrons:-)
