The beginning of an art career for Vincent Farrell

1967 front cover brochure

This painting was the first significant painting Vincent Farrell sold and the beginning of a 50 year art career. The painting was of red Canon lilies with a shovel against a wooden fence, the subject matter was taken from our garden at home and became the cover for his first professional brochure. The purchaser of the painting was  a man from Dallas, Texas.  The following post shows a then current biography and photograph of Vincent Farrell in 1966.
