Our series of limited edition, signed and number serigraphs by the artist Vincent Farrell are available for purchase. These serigraphs were created and published exclusively by Vincent Farrell. They are large in size and contain as many as 75 silk screens which create these fine art process prints. Vincent was very involved in the print making process and mixed all the pigment colors as well as creating all the silk screens in order to maintain the print quality. These serigraphs would make a dramatic and colorful focal point for any room. For purchase inquiries please contact us at email@example.com
This painting was the first significant painting Vincent Farrell sold and the beginning of a 50 year art career. The painting was of red Canon lilies with a shovel against a wooden fence, the subject matter was taken from our garden at home and became the cover for his first professional brochure. The purchaser of the painting was a man from Dallas, Texas. The following post shows a then current biography and photograph of Vincent Farrell in 1966.
Spring has FINALLY officially arrived with the conclusion of the SXSW 2013 Interactive, Film and Music conference held in Austin, Texas. Although, I am a little disappointed I never made it over the the SXSW trade show held at the Austin Convention Center in order to say “hello” to the wonderful WordPress staff, yet, I am guilty to say I had a fun filled time at SXSW this year but my feet are paying the price today. yikes! It was a great conference and I was so fortunate to attend. Prince, closed the event with an amazing 3 hour concert at La Zona Rosa. All were entranced by the magnitude of the Prince himself and the live presence of his music at the conference. Prince was clearly the hottest ticket to be had, as was Justin Timberlake, for pop music lovers and another for me personally was Bernhoft, the norwegian musician extraordinaire, too many bands, too many margaritas and not enough time.
SXSW is still one of the great music, film and interactive conferences around and there is no comparison. Always unique and thoughtfully constructed show cases are painstakingly assembled by SXSW staff months in advance, bringing musicians from all over the world to Austin. Almost every musical genre is represented and this year had a total of 19,000 bands playing over a 4 day period. Heaven!!!
